How to create repeating pattern from watercolour illustration in Photoshop

It took me a while to work out this process. My background is photography and since discovering masking method in my photography work I always used it, whenever something needed to be erased.

Pattern Preview Tool in Photoshop is a powerful, has natural feel I is, however, very often misunderstood tool and I wanted to clear up those doubts.

I have recorded 3 parts mini series from very scratch to final pattern.
